Our Story

A Central Texas native, raised in the ranching/farming world, auctions were a regular event.   Eddy became a licensed auctioneer in 1977, opening Eddie Lange and Associates in 1982 located across Business 190 from the present location. Thousands of auctions later, auctioneering remains a source of professional accomplishment as we repurpose “one man’s junk” to someone else’s “treasure”.  We invest in our local communities through fundraising auctions and support of local charities .

The Grisham family put down roots in Central Texas almost 100 years ago,  establishing Grisham Farms.  This modest family farm became a successful enterprise providing oats, wheat, corn, milo, hay, cotton as well as cattle and a feed lot serving the local economy.  Charlie enjoyed the equipment running side of the farm and seeing the growth of the family business.  Growing up in the agriculture community – Charlie also loved auctions.

2019 brought a big life change as he became a licensed auctioneer fulfilling a lifetime dream and checking off an item on his bucket list.  He began working with Eddy Lange  and in time took the helm and formed Heidenheimer Auction Company (HAC).

HAC continues to grow with Charlie and his wife, Denise, involved in day-to-day auction and storage rental facility operations along with their eldest son Brian.  Brian is an associate auctioneer that oversees the yard and incoming consignments while working towards becoming licensed.  Eddy, while looking forward to a someday retirement, is still involved with planning and growing the enterprise.

Our HAC vision is to provide our customers and community with every auction and storage service for the future.
